Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency is dredging water channel on Jalan Cempaka Putih Tengah, RT 01/08, Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village, Cempaka Putih. It is targeted to complete next week.

Cempaka Putih Sub-district Water Resource Implementer Unit Head, Subandi, said the dredging is part of routine maintenance in order to prevent inundation.
"If the mud filled the channel, then it triggers inundation," he said, Wednesday (4/17).

His side deploys 20 taskforce personnel to dredge the channel aling 200 meters with height one meter and width 120 centimeters.
"It is hoped to complete in ten days or lately next week," he added.
Meanwhile, resident of RW 08, Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village, Rahmat, appreciated the work run by sub-agency's personnel.
"It is hoped the work will complete next week," he stated.
